Library Cards:
Richfield Library is a city library, funded by the taxes paid by the people of Richfield City, and by library card fees paid by patrons from outside Richfield City limits.

Library cards are free for Richfield residents, and for all children who attend or are eligible to attend Richfield preschools, daycares and schools.
Patrons who reside outside Richfield City limits must pay a $20 annual fee for library privileges.
Getting a Library Card: To obtain a library card, patrons must come to the library and show 1) a picture ID with a current address, or 2) a picture ID with an old address, and another proof of current address (a check, a fishing license, a piece of mail, a rental agreement, a utility bill, etc.)
Library Cards for Children: Parents must come with children to sign them up for library cards. Please bring 1) a picture ID with a current address, or 2) a picture ID with an old address, and another proof of current address (a check, a fishing license, a piece of mail, a rental agreement, a utility bill, etc.)
Circulation Time: Materials (books, movies, audios) all circulate for 2 weeks. They can be renewed for an additional 2 weeks by phone, in person, or online   before they are due, provided no other patron has reserved them, and if they are not new books.
Fines: Overdue books, movies, audios, etc. will be charged 10 cents per day.
Library Privileges can be limited or revoked by the director for excessive overdues, damaged books etc.
